What Does This Warranty Cover?

This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for furniture products purchased directly from Scandinaviandesignsdeal. A manufacturing defect is a flaw that existed when the product was made and is not caused by normal wear, accidental damage, or improper use.

How Long Is the Coverage?

Furniture products carry a 12-month limited warranty from the date of delivery. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable. It applies only to products purchased through our website, scandinaviandesignsdeal.my, and shipped within the United States mainland.

What Is Not Covered?

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, including fading, minor scratches, or softening of cushions over time
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidents
  • Damage from improper assembly, modification, or repair by anyone other than us
  • Damage from exposure to extreme temperatures, moisture, or direct sunlight
  • Commercial use (e.g., rental, office, or hospitality settings)
  • Items marked as final sale, clearance, or purchased “as is”
  • Damage during customer-arranged transport after delivery

What Will We Do?

If a covered defect is confirmed, we will, at our discretion:

  • Repair the item
  • Replace the item with the same or a comparable product
  • Issue a refund for the purchase price

We will cover the cost of shipping for approved warranty claims within the United States mainland. If the claim is not approved, the customer is responsible for any shipping costs.

How to Make a Claim

  1. Email us at info@scandinaviandesignsdeal.my with your order number and a description of the defect.
  2. Attach clear photographs showing the defect and the overall product.
  3. Our team will review your claim and respond within 2 business days.
  4. If approved, we will provide instructions for repair, replacement, or return.

Please do not send the item to our address before receiving a warranty authorization. Unauthorized returns may be refused.

Relationship to Return Policy

This warranty is separate from our 30-day return policy. If your item arrives damaged or defective, you may choose to use the return process within 30 days of delivery. After 30 days, this warranty applies for covered manufacturing defects. The warranty does not extend the return window or change the terms of our Refund & Return Policy.

Your Consumer Rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights under applicable state or federal law, including implied warranties. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
